cooking tips for beginners

The new season of the popular Food Network BBQ competition series features new contestants and chef lineups, but the judges stay the same. Brooke Williamson, Rodney Scott and Carson Kressley will again judge the competition. This time around, they'll be judging a new category - sauces! This show should not be missed! So, tune in to the Food Network to see which chef will end up with the top prize!

Erica Blaire Roby

Roby's appearance on Blue Smoke Grill (Food Network) shows that Roby has a lot more to her cooking background than most people realize. She learned from some of the greatest chefs in the world and received a $7,500 Preserve the Pit grant. She was challenged by some of the best chefs in the country as her barbecue skills were tested. Roby was up against tough competition, but she persevered, even with a broken finger.

Roby is a psychology graduate and has worked as both a criminal defense lawyer and as a wine expert. Before competing on Food Network she spent time as a sommelier pairing wines with food. This job allowed her to reclaim her passion for cooking. Roby was raised in a barbecue house, and her love of the grill is a natural result.

Despite her legal career, Roby decided to take up cooking barbecue after having her first child. Inspired by her father's dream, Roby decided to start a barbecue restaurant. In 2018, Roby enrolled in a barbecue cooking course taught by celebrity pitmaster Harry Soo. After completing the course, Roby was certified as a pitmaster and began work in a barbecue restaurant.

Her love for barbecue started as a hobby. She eventually became obsessed with the art of barbecuing. She started out by cooking on her backyard patio. Then, she went on to compete in barbecue competitions across the country, cooking alongside world-famous pit masters. She has also opened several pop ups in Dayton and Ohio. She plans to open a food truck.

Team Brawl vs. Team Anne

Food Network BBQ Team Brawl 3 will feature two of the finest chefs from around the globe competing for the ultimate title in grilling. Anne Burrell and Jet Tila will take on Bobby Flay and Team Anne in a dinner-party brawl that's sure to be one to remember. Matt Roth (BBQ Brawl's favorite) returns as the Austin-based Smokin Beauty owner with Thao.

Ann instructed the contestants on what to prepare, while Jet and Team Bobby let them pick what to make. As a result, Team Bobby failed to make his ceviche. This time, Team Anne has a huge advantage. Anne even jumped down the throat of Team Bobby's contestant while he was reaching for an ingredient.

Some familiar faces will be appearing in the new season's BBQ Team Brawl, just as they do with all Food Network competitions. Lee Ann Whippen has been competing in barbecuing over 23 years and will serve as Team Anne's judge. She is also the managing partner of Deviled Pig in Tampa and a judge for the Kansas City Barbecue Society. She has won many state and global barbecue championships. She also has starred in TV shows like Throwdown With Bobby Flay and BBQ Pitmasters.

Flay vs Symon was another contest for the best barbecue sandwich. This time, Lee Ann took a more traditional approach to the sandwich, while Susie went for an exotic twist. Although her pork belly banh mash was innovative, judges were not impressed by its thickness. The Team Anne burger was delicious, juicy, and well-baked.
